We can haz playtime and work too! With scorching temperatures and the kids out of school, we're all due for a recharge. User interface research involving Rock Band, Guitar Hero, guitars, drums, iPads and iPhones, Wii Fit and more.
Kids are welcome at our midsummer playtime coworking session. Firecat will provide a light lunch, so come on out and get your Game on. We'll stock the big screen with:
- Wii system and accoutrements
- Music application exploration: Rock Band Beatles, Rock Band Classic Rock, and more
- Drums, microphones and guitars
- Smule's excellent piano iPad app
- iPads and iPhones loaded with interesting music and game apps
- Tweetup fun, encouragement and how-to
- Wii Fit balance board and hilarity
Seriously: If you aren't yet familiar with how games, game interfaces and Applications work, you need to experience this. Come experiment with these interesting interfaces in a supportive environment, learn a few tricks, meet some new faces and unwind a little.
