Designing for Emotion - Friday, April 4

We human beings like to think we make decisions with our keen analytical minds, based on facts and core values. The truth is, we make decisions based on a huge variety of factors, and emotions are very heavily involved, even essential to good decisionmaking.

It's time to move beyond merely usable or accessible designs, and jump into the realm of emotional design. We'll examine specific, proven methods for triggering all kinds of emotions in users, including empathy, identification, aspiration, loss aversion, urgency, competitiveness and delight.

Bring a brown bag lunch. There is no charge for the session.
